Release: RE:Memories

Some of my older tracks inb4 some new tracks!

JordyVision - RE:Memories album-art by Capse1

I made these tracks just over 10 years ago on a PSX, yes, the original Playstation, using the Music 2000 Software by Codemasters and Jester Interactive. In those days the hard techno sound was all the rage and lots of tribal rhythms, loads of pumping basslines and well, high-tempo heavy kickdrums pounding and pounding away. I tried to kept it groovy on this one, but there’s an abstract surprise waiting for Bandcamp customers. (And that’s an exclusive! To be released later..)

Interview: Capse

Yesterday, Jeralta interviewed graffiti & design artist Capse1.

GrafMan by CapseI tagged along to make some snapshots and because I had yet to met the artist myself, who made the artwork for the Sensei Walingh remix (embedded below). On the left is one of his many creations, which he gave to me! Thanks mate!

“For the people who don’t know you, introduce yourself.

Hello, I’m Ruben, better known as Capse. I’m from Holland, Art and Design student, former graffiti artist (I will be back though!), designer, full-time hip hop lover, Part-time interesting person.”

Turning HipHop into House

Artwork by Capse1For Hip Hop producer Sensei Walingh I remixed a title named ‘Nighty’. I made this remix using standard House Music weaponry and went for a modern Deep House sound with a French House twist. Graffiti and design artist Capse1 made the artwork for this track, which fits the mood perfectly!
