Just four weeks after the first EP Prowess Records present their second release. This single by JordyVision called “Droomweg”, was co-produced by Son Of 8-Bits with vocals from Niki Brumas. Droomweg is Dutch for dream road and that’s exactly the vibe this danceable electro-house track is giving to the listener. It’s a journey expressed in sound starting with a high-speed train that progresses to it’s destination. That’s when the vocal kicks in it signals the start of a melodic, melancholic break that brings you along the dreamroad to another world, far away from here.

The song is already available on JordyVision’s Bandcamp site, and will be distributed to most well known MP3 stores in the weeks to follow. It can already be heard on the Facebook fanpage, Soundcloud and Myspace.

But after a few busy and exciting days I wanted to relax and have a drink.

First of all, my label Prowess Records has launched it’s first release by producer Fujasaki on which I got the honor to do a remix, and so did _aa_. Both remixes along with Fujasaki’s reworks have gotten good receptions among the first batch of fans. And we were lucky enough to get some reviews here and there as well.

And today, after my usual day job, me and singer Lovely Leonie went on a trip to Amstelveen. Which is about the only place in the Netherlands which has a big Japanese community. Suffice to say, the キムチ, 焼き鳥, and 日本酒 tasted great. And the local bookstore holds a great collection of books to help my Japanese studies!

And than there also were the college assessments… Which turned out just a little better than expected.. (But I still need to work a little harder.)

Oh, the beer was nice, tangy. (Burp)

Soon, Prowess Records will release it’s first EP featuring yours truly using my new pseudonym: JordyVision. The first release will be called “Van Charles De Gaulle Naar KIX” with tracks such as “Kittens”, “ソフィ ＆ フェリシア” (Sophie & Felicia) and “んゆー！” (Nyu!). I’m currently mastering these tracks and sorting-out the artwork. In about six weeks these tracks will be available in the iTunes store!
