Cumulus DJ Battle today

From January till June I’ve been running a DJ-workshop at Cumulus Welzijn. The first three months were about music production on the computer, and deejaying on the computer. After that we worked on beat-matching, effects and making cool mixes on turntables and CD-players.

Now, it’s time for the final showdown!

In the next month (June, July 2009) I’ll be playing three performances:

19th of June, 2009: Cumulus DJ workshop final Battle
17:00 – 21:00 Griftpark Utrecht
I will be in the Jury, among others, and do a short performance during the break

2nd of July, 2009: DJ contest Cafe Lust

5th of July: Griftpark, Skate contest (Like the one last year!)
13:00 – 17:00 Griftpark Utrecht
Together with the Metro DJ team, we’ll make sure this contest gets it’s kicks!

- Tonight, the DJ workshop in Utrecht will finally get to It’s main phase. For the first time I can finally start showing the students “How to DJ”.
